The Hornstick is a new ergonomic device for all horn players which gives the player a more comfortable, effective and healthy way of playing this beautifull instrument.

We pay much attention to how the tools and equipment we use everyday effects our health and comfort. This is the science of ergonomics. Because of its size and weight the horn does pose special ergonomic challenges, the more important ergonomic considerations become.

Using the Hornstick also improves the most important aspects of brass playing, breathing and air flow. The only task remaining for the left hand is to balance the horn and keep the mouthpiece in the right place and angle for each situation.

• When using the Hornstick while you play, lessening the strain on your shoulders and back.
• The horn can be supported in different ways:
  
    
• Sitting and supporting your horn on the thigh.   
• Sitting and supporting the horn on the chair or on the floor before the chair.   
• Standing and supporting the horn on the floor or with a plastic adapter attached to your belt.
  
  
• The stick attaches to an adapter, which is mounted to the tubing of the horn. The attachment is simply screwed on, and fits on every horn. A simple mechanism allows the stick to be attached and taken off easily and very quickly. ·
• The stick can be simply adjusted in height.
• When removing water you don't need to remove the stick.
• Playing Bell-up is also possible without removing the stick.
• The stick is made from ultra light and strong Carbon, it is made so that it doesn't damage your horn.

When using set B you can support the horn thee thigh and on the chair.

The special adapter for ataching to your belt makes it also possible to play the horn standing.
